Explore the Enchanted World of Agemonia From Publisher Lautapelit.fi

Several years in the making, it seems that Agemonia from publisher Lautapelit.fi is finally getting one step closer to being realised. Designed by Max Wikström, Agemonia is a cooperative board game where 1 - 4 players assume the roles of stalwart heroes exploring the titular magical realm in an attempt to understand the resurgence of ancient, mythical artefacts and the impact they have on the world. The game is played over a series of scenarios which tell an evolving story influenced by your course of action and moral choices as described by the publisher:

“As your Heroes explore the Scenario map, story points are triggered, revealing more information about your surroundings. They may provide useful equipment or treasure, spawn new enemies onto the map, or give your Hero an opportunity to test one of their abilities: Might, Agility or Will, by rolling dice, and spending Mana. You spend mana in the form of mana chips, but these are also spent and flipped to their wound side when your hero takes damage, reducing the amount of mana available for you to use. Each turn your Hero will perform an action (such as attacking, healing, or focusing your abilities) and a maneuver (such as moving, meditating to regain precious mana, or recovering to heal your wounds) in either order. Choose wisely, as your choice of action will also affect your turn order for the round, and coordinating your actions with your fellow Heroes is key.”
